Locum Clinical Psychologist at Southern Health via agency
Employed across two Community Mental Health Services for older people and an organic inpatient ward. Responsibilities included:

  • Provision of psychological assessment, formulation and interventions for older people presenting with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties.
  • Leading on the introduction of the Newcastle model on an organic ward. This included staff training, and the facilitation of team formulation sessions to inform personalised care plans.
  • Supervision, consultation and reflective practice sessions for staff.

2020–2022

Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist at South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust
Working under the Memory Assessment Service and Community Behaviour and Communication Support Service. Responsibilities included:

  • Provision of neuropsychological assessment; verbal and written communication to referrers and clients of assessment results and recommendations; pre- and post-diagnostic counselling; and supervision of Cognitive Stimulation therapy.
  • Assessment, formulation and intervention for people presenting with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (in community settings).
