After studying medicine at the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, she worked for 20 years in medical profession in Germany. In Munich, she gained expertise in psychiatry, cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine (Psychosomatische Klinik Windach am Ammersee and Technische Universität München - Klinikum rechts der Isar). She expanded her psychotherapeutic education with the knowledge of deep and family psychotherapy - especially at the Munich Psychiatric Clinic for Children and Adolescents (Heckscher Klinik). She has a certificate in psychiatry.
In her work she deals with the treatment of a wide range of mental disorders, such as mood disorders (depression, mania), psychosomatic disorders, stress induced disorders and neurotic disorders (panic, phobias, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD), attention disorders, mental disorders associated with old age, eating disorders, sleep disorders, psychosis, personality disorders, psychoactive substance disorders.
Furthermore, she particularly offers help in life crisis situations which the client is unable to cope with. Such situation can be, for example: the loss of a loved one, separation, partnership crisis, loss of employment, property, retirement and many other situations that the individual perceives as stressful.
“I consider the basis of successful therapy to be an individual approach, a suitable combination of treatment procedures and maximum involvement of the client in the therapeutic process. If the patient needs and wishes, I supplement the treatment with holistic medicine approaches (e.g. phytotherapy).”
