The beginning of fall is the best time to get a flu shot. We use Vaxigrip Tetra, which is applied in a single dose to the upper arm. It helps prevent the flu caused by two flu virus A subtypes and two flu virus B subtypes contained in the vaccine.

Children play a substantial role in the transmission of flu viruses, because they can emit the virus for longer than adults, even more than 10 days. With this simple and painless vaccination you will thus protect not only your children, but also older family members. This vaccine protects against the four viral strains it contains and against other closely related strains. The Fluenz nasal spray vaccine with simple application will protect your children from seasonal flu, a viral disease, without the use of a syringe.

The price of nasal vaccination is CZK 900.

... COVID-19 VACCINATION

The Comirnaty JN.1 mRNA vaccine is used for active immunization to prevent COVID-19 in persons 12 and older. Only one dose is applied regardless of past vaccination.
Those who have already received a COVID-19 vaccine should wait at least 3 months after the last dose to receive a Comirnaty vaccine.

The vaccine can be administered at the same time as a seasonal flu shot.

Vaccination costs CZK 750.

The most common side effects of the vaccine are pain at the injection site, fatigue, less frequently headache, sore muscle, and in isolated cases chills or joint pain. These adverse effects are usually mild and disappear within several days.

At the time of vaccination you must not have any acute illness (a mild cold or a runny nose are OK), and for 2-3 days after application you should avoid physical exertion or consuming larger quantities of alcohol. There must be at least two weeks between any prior or subsequent vaccination. Vaccine application can be considered starting from the second trimester of pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
